Wonder Woman

Real Name: Diana
Height: 6'
Weight: 165 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black

SHORT DESCRIPTION:
In most adaptations, Wonder Woman is Princess Diana of the Amazon warrior tribe, based on Greek mythology, "Diana" being the Roman name for the Greek goddess Artemis on whom the character is based. The Amazon ambassador to the larger world, Diana was awarded several gifts by the Olympian gods, including the Lasso of Truth (created from the Golden Girdle of Gaea) and indestructible bracelets/gauntlets (formed from the shield Aegis). For several years she was described in the splash page of each story, as "beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, swifter than Mercury, and stronger than Hercules."

POWERS or ABILITIES=
Diana possesses a host of superhuman powers granted to her by the gods and goddesses of Olympus, gifts which have been stated to be equal to their own abilities. Primary among these are superhuman strength and stamina, which she draws from a mystical link to the Earth itself granted by Demeter.
Diana is one of the strongest superheroes in the DC Universe. Her stamina affords her an incredible degree of resistance to blunt force trauma. However, Diana's skin is not totally invulnerable and can be pierced by sharp projectiles with sufficient force distributed over a small surface area such as bullets or arrows.
Born of the clay of Themyscira, and given life and divine powers by the gods themselves, Diana has heightened resistance to magical attacks. She is experienced in battling foes who use sorcery as a weapon. As a divine creation herself, she is less susceptible to manipulation by magic than many of her fellow heroes. Like the Earth, Diana is constantly renewing herself, allowing her to quickly heal. In cases where she is gravely injured or poisoned, Diana has shown the ability to physically merge with the earth, causing whatever injuries or poisons she has incurred to be expelled from her body as it regains shape. This ability is shared by all the Themyscirian Amazons and is considered a sacred act, and is seldom used.
Diana also possesses superhuman speed and reflexes, as well as the power of unassisted flight — all granted by Hermes, messenger of the gods. She is among the fastest characters in the DCU.
Diana is the finest warrior ever born to the Amazons of Themyscira. She is a master of armed and unarmed combat, proficient with nearly every weapon ever made, especially the bow and the javelin, and the exotic martial arts styles practiced by the Amazons. Because those martial skills are not practiced outside of Themyscira, Diana is extremely difficult to defeat in open battle, unless she is fighting beings whose strength and durability surpasses her own, such as Superman, Darkseid, and the Olympian gods. However, even in those cases, her martial prowess has enabled her to garner victories.
The goddess Artemis has granted Diana the "Hunter's Eye" which gives Diana enhanced senses, as well as unity with the animal kingdom and the ability to tame wild beasts.
Shortly before Infinite Crisis, Wonder Woman was blinded; her sight was later restored by Athena. Since then, she has possessed the sight of Athena, or the gift of increased insight. Consequently, Diana can detect others' emotions, is now fully immune to Doctor Psycho's illusions and also mind control as shown during the conclusion of the Sacrifice storyline when Maxwell Lord tried to telepathically control her but was unable to do so.
Diana possesses great wisdom and intelligence, primary gifts from the Goddess of Wisdom herself, Athena. Diana has exhibited heightened proficiency with languages, being able to speak her native Themysciran, Ancient and Modern Greek, English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese (she expressed "difficulty" with the tones of Cantonese during an interview with Lois Lane), Russian and Hindi.
Wonder Woman is an accomplished strategist and tactician, practiced in the arts of leadership, persuasion and diplomacy.

WEAPONS of WONDER WOMAN=
Diana has numerous powerful weapons at her disposal, but her signature weapons are her indestructible bracelets/gauntlets and the Lasso of Truth. The Gauntlets of Victory were formed from the remnants of Zeus's legendary Aegis shield, and were created for her by Hephaestus. Diana's superhuman reflexes and senses allow her to deflect projectiles and bullets, including automatic weapons fire, as well as energy blasts and lasers from beings such as Ares and Darkseid. She is fast enough to protect herself from multi-vector attacks. At close-range the indestructible gauntlets block blades, weaponry and punches. Diana has used the gauntlets as a dual defensive/offensive weapon, redirecting energy blasts back to their point of origin or at other targets. When crossed, the gauntlets generate a larger remnant of the Aegis itself, forming an impenetrable barrier which allows Diana to protect herself and those behind her from area attacks.
The Lasso of Truth, forged from her aunt Antiope's Golden Girdle of Gaea, is perhaps Diana's greatest and most versatile weapon. The divine Lasso is absolutely unbreakable and has restrained beings as powerful as Superman, Captain Marvel, and the gods Ares and Hades. The Lasso burns with a magical aura called the Fires of Hestia, forcing anyone within the Lasso's confines to speak the absolute truth. The Fires can restore lost memories, dispel illusions, renew the wielder's body, protect those encircled by it from magical attacks and even cure insanity. Some writers have established that no one but Diana can wield the Lasso due to its divine nature, but Donna Troy has used it during her tenure as both Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman. In recent years, artists and inkers have depicted the Lasso as a genuinely fiery weapon, coursing with power. This is due, in part, to advances in the coloring processes now used in comics. During Grant Morrison's popular run on JLA, artist Howard Porter frequently drew Diana wielding the flaming Lasso, with absolute control, in elaborate and serpentine configurations.
Throughout the years, Wonder Woman's golden tiara has also doubled as a boomerang-type throwing weapon, used for long-distance attack or defense. Hurled with Diana's superhuman strength, the razor-edged crown can cut through most substances before returning to her. One of her most notable uses of this weapon resulted in the decapitation of the god Deimos during their first meeting.
Diana previously used the Sandals of Hermes to cross the dimensional impasse between Themyscira and the outside world, but they were passed on first to Artemis, and later to Wonder Girl. Diana also once wielded the Gauntlet of Atlas, which magnifies the physical strength of the wearer by a factor of ten. Diana used the Gauntlet several times, most notably to destroy a clone of the Superman-killer Doomsday, but it raised her already superhuman strength to a level that she found difficult to control.
Wonder Woman has at her disposal a small lightweight disc of alien (Lansinar) technology that, when triggered by her thoughts, transforms into a transparent version of whatever object or vehicle is appropriate for her needs. The device has been used for several purposes, including a communication device, but is most frequently used by Diana in the form of an invisible jet plane, thus reintroducing this vehicle for the first time in post-Crisis continuity. She has also used the amorphous disc in partnership with Green Lantern's power ring to hold Earth's moon together while shifting its orbit.
A classic warrior, Diana occasionally uses additional weaponry in formal battle. She uses ceremonial golden armor complete with golden wings, war-skirt and chest-plate, and a golden helmet in the shape of an Eagle's head. In warfare, she may wield a bow & arrow, a spear, or a labrys (a doubled-bladed axe). Owing to the honored self-sacrifice of Diana Trevor, Wonder Woman uses many American themes such as an American Flag sort of cape/sword holster. Moreover, she uses a golden shield with American symbols and themes. Her deadliest piece of battle-gear is a magically forged sword (again a gift from Hephaestus), so sharp that it can carve the electrons off an atom. In the non-canonical Kingdom Come, Superman was cut by this sword while running his fingers down the blade.

VILLAINS=
Doctor Poison, Cheetah, Giganta, Eviless, Hypnota, Blue Snowman, Angle Man, Egg Fu, Doctor Cyber, Captain Wonder, Circe, Devastation, Cyborgirl.

WHY IT'S HARD TO BE HER=
It's hard to be some one like Wonder Woman, and with almost every girl superhero, because people don't always take you seriously. When you look in the comics people are usually thinking that she's just a weak woman that isn't hardly and obstacle, they quickly find out otherwise. The first word that pops into my head is womanizer though i know it wouldn't be totally correct in this subject. Most women in comics aren't taken seriously, especially when they get their start. When Wonder Woman had her first comic the authors and all the other people assigned to her were worried that she wouldn't do well because at the time male dominance was pretty big, not as big as medieavel times, but still males were pretty dominate. Luckly she was perfect and everyone loved her.

Wolverine

Real Name: James Howlett, now goes by Logan
Height: 5" 3'
Weight : 195 lbs
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Black

SHORT DESCRIPTION=
Sometime after World War II, Logan was taken by a group of scientists led by Dr. Cornelius as part of the Weapon X program. Cornelius was hired to perfect and use a technique that would bond the indestructible element adamantium to human bone cells. Logan's skeleton was bonded to the adamantium, and he was indoctrinated into the Weapon X assassin program.
After his encounter with the Hulk, Wolverine was conscripted by Department H to join and lead Alpha Flight, Canada's government-run super team. During his leadership of Alpha Flight, Wolverine was approached by Professor Charles Xavier, who was looking for mutants to help his students, the X-Men, escape from the island-being known as Krakoa, which had captured them. Wolverine left Alpha Flight to accompany Xavier and rescue the captured X-Men. After Krakoa was defeated, Wolverine decided to stay with the X-Men, for reasons which included that he had fallen for the X-Man known as Jean Grey.

POWERS or ABILITIES=
Wolverine is a mutant with a number of both natural and artificial improvements to his physiology. His primary mutant power is an accelerated healing process called a "healing factor" that regenerates damaged or destroyed areas of his body far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human and renders him immune to most toxins and diseases. Depictions of the speed and extent of injury to which Wolverine can heal vary, depending on the story and writer. Originally, this is portrayed as just accelerated healing, but writers have increased this ability over years to the point that he can regenerate organs such as eyes and large portions of flesh. For example, Wolverine has been shown recently regenerating all of his bodily tissue, after having it incinerated from his skeleton as a result of being caught in the middle of an explosion caused by Nitro, within a matter of minutes. Wolverine survives the explosion due to the protection his adamantium-laced skull provides to his brain. It has been stated in the Xavier Protocols, a series of profiles created by Xavier that lists the strengths and weaknesses of the X-Men, that Wolverine's healing factor has been increased to "incredible levels" and that the only way to kill him is to decapitate him and remove his head from the vicinity of his body. However, Wolverine's skeleton wasn't bonded with adamantium at the time Xavier conceived this strategy. Given the recent depictions of the extent of Wolverine's healing powers by various writers and artists, it is unclear if decapitation would kill him or not.
In addition, the regenerative qualities of his healing powers cause Wolverine to age much more slowly than an ordinary human. Wolverine himself was born sometime in the late 19th century. Wolverine is depicted in modern stories, set well over 100 years later, with the appearance and vitality of a man in his prime. Wolverine's healing powers afford him immunity against diseases, as well as most drugs and toxins.
Wolverine possesses a number of superhuman physical attributes. Wolverine's healing factor affords him superhuman levels of physical stamina. Wolverine has engaged Omega Red in a continuous fight for more than 18 hours, despite regular exposure to Omega Red's Death Spores. Wolverine has also demonstrated that his agility and reflexes are also enhanced to levels that are beyond normal human limits, by dodging Cyclops' optic energy beams at point blank range.
Wolverine also possesses superhumanly acute senses of sight, smell, and hearing. Wolverine is capable of seeing with perfect clarity at greater distances than an ordinary human, even in near-total darkness. His hearing is enhanced in a similar manner, allowing him to both hear sounds ordinary humans can't and also hear to greater distances. Wolverine is able to use his sense of smell to track targets by scent, even if the scent has been eroded somewhat over time by natural factors.
Wolverine's physical appearance displays animal-like mutations, including sharper-than-normal teeth with pronounced canines and three retractable claws housed within each forearm. The claws are made of bone, unlike the claws of normal mammals which are made of keratin. The bone claws are sharp and dense enough to slice through substances as durable as most metals, wood, and some varieties of stone. Wolverine's hands do not have openings for the claws to move through; thus, they cut through his flesh every time he extrudes them. Although his healing factor deals with the wounds created almost instantaneously, he has said on multiple occasions that it always hurts.
Wolverine's entire skeleton, including his claws, is molecularly infused with adamantium, rendering it practically indestructible. The adamantium claws can cut almost any known solid material. The only known exceptions are adamantium itself, and Captain America's shield, which is the only substance in the Marvel Universe known to be even more durable than adamantium. Wolverine's ability to slice completely through a substance depends upon both the amount of force he can exert and the thickness of the substance. The adamantium also weights his blows, dramatically increasing the effectiveness of his punches and kicks. The adamantium claws make a distinctive "Snikt" sound when extruded.
The healing factor also allows him to push his muscles beyond the limits of the human body without injury, granting him some degree of superhuman strength. This is augmented by the constant demand placed on his muscles by over one hundred pounds (45.5 kilos) of adamantium, which also removes skeletal structural limitations, allowing him to lift weight that would damage a human skeleton. He has been depicted being strong enough to break steel chains and being able to lift a dozen men above his head with one arm and throw them through a wall.
Due to high level psionic shields implanted by Professor Charles Xavier, Wolverine's mind is highly resistant to telepathic assault and probing.

VILLAINS=

Captain America

Real Name: Steve Rogers
Height: 6'2"
Weight: 204 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Blond
SHORT DESCRIPTION=(kinda)
Before America's entry into World War II, Rogers is a tall (6 ft 2 in) but scrawny fine arts student specializing in illustration. Disturbed by the rise of the Third Reich, Rogers attempts to enlist, only to be rejected due to his poor constitution. A U.S. Army officer looking for test subjects offers Rogers the chance to serve his country by taking part in a top-secret defense project — Operation: Rebirth, which seeks to develop a means of creating physically superior soldiers. Rogers volunteers for the research and, after a rigorous selection process, is chosen as the first human test subject for the Super-Soldier serum developed by the scientist "Dr. Reinstein."The night that Operation: Rebirth is implemented, Rogers receives injections and oral ingestion's of the Super-Soldier formula. He is then exposed to a controlled burst of "Vita-Rays" that activate and stabilize the chemicals in his system. Although the process is arduous physically, it successfully alters his physiology almost instantly from its relatively frail form to the maximum of human efficiency, greatly enhancing his musculature and reflexes. The United States government, making the most of its one super-soldier, re imagines him as a superhero who serves as both a counter-intelligence agent and a propaganda symbol to counter Nazi Germany's head of terrorist operations, the Red Skull. In 1945, during the closing days of World War II, Captain America and Bucky(Captain America's sidekick) try to stop the villainous Baron Zemo from destroying an experimental drone plane. Zemo launches the plane with an armed explosive on it, with Rogers and Barnes in hot pursuit. They reach the plane just before it takes off, but when Bucky tries to defuse the bomb, it explodes in mid-air. The young man is believed killed, and Rogers is hurled into the freezing waters of either the North Atlantic. Neither body is found, and both are presumed dead. Years later, the superhero team the Avengers discovers Steve Rogers' body in the North Atlantic, his costume under his soldier's uniform and still carrying his shield. After he revives, they piece together that Rogers had been preserved in a block of ice since 1945. The block had begun to melt after the Sub-Mariner, enraged that an Arctic Inuit tribe is worshiping the frozen figure, throws it into the ocean. Rogers accepts membership in the Avengers, and although long out of his time, his considerable combat experience makes him a valuable asset to the team. He quickly assumes leadership, and has typically returned to that position throughout the team's history.

POWERS or ABILITIES=
Rogers in the regular Marvel Universe has no superhuman powers, although as a result of the Super-Soldier serum, he is transformed from a frail young man into a "perfect" specimen of human development and conditioning. Captain America is as intelligent, strong, fast, agile, and durable as it is possible for a human being to be without being considered superhuman. He was once seen bench-pressing 1100 lbs, unassisted. The formula enhances all of his metabolic functions and prevents the build-up of fatigue poisons in his muscles, giving him endurance far in excess of an ordinary human being. This accounts for many of his extraordinary feats, including running a mile in a little more than a minute. Furthermore, his enhancements are the reason why he was able to survive being frozen in suspended animation for decades. Rogers is also unable to become intoxicated by alcohol and is immune to many diseases.

Years of practice with his indestructible shield make it practically an extension of his own body, and he is able to aim and throw it with almost unerring accuracy. His skill with his shield is such that he can attack multiple targets in succession with a single throw by use of ricochets, or even cause a boomerang-like return from a throw to attack an enemy from behind. He is extremely skilled in hand-to-hand combat, sometimes taking on and defeating foes whose strength, size, or superpowers greatly exceed his. In the comics, he is regarded by other skilled fighters as one of the best hand-to-hand combatants in the Marvel Universe.Captain America uses several shields throughout his history, the most recognizable of which is an nigh-indestructible discus-shaped shield made from a fusion of vibranium with an experimental steel alloy (not adamantium-vibranium as sometimes erroneously stated).
He was once able to lift Thor's Hammer which only the most humble, pure, righteous, and good people can do. I think that says a lot about the kinda person he is and why that makes him a good superhero.
VILLAINS=
Red Skull, Baron Zemo, Crossbones, Dr. Faustus, Nazis, and others that are enemies of the superhero team the Avengers.
He also has enemies like Modok, and the terrorist organizations known as A.I.M. and Hydra.

WHY IT'S HARD TO BE HIM=
Day by day Captain America lives with a feeling that Bucky's death is somehow his fault. He's been haunted by that feeling sense Bucky's death. Though it is clearly not his fault but the fault of Baron Zemo (see Short Description).
One reason it's hard to be Cap is that he's got to be a constant influence and example of a perfect American. People are always looking to him for answers on how to be a good person. He is also kind of a dangerous thing for America to have if you think about it. If he were to go to China and cause some sort of damage to maybe a temple or a holy place, China would probably (no offense to Chinese people or China) demand the surrender of Captain America and if America refuses to give up one of it's greatest hero's, it might end in a war or who knows what else. In a lot of ways it's more drastic for him that it would be for another superhero. Why? Because his clothes are fashioned after the American flag, he is a huge symbol of America and what America stands for, a national symbol and maybe even international, and again, people look up to him, so if he starts a war what kind of example would that be to kids and Americans in general. I for one can say, that even though he's a fictional character, he has greatly influenced America and has kept us going in some of the most amazing ways like in a comic when he says to buy war bonds or something like that, kids will go out and buy them or tell their parents to buy some. R.I.P.

Superman

Name: Kal-El; Clark Kent(adoptive name)
Height: 6' 3"
Weight:235 lbs
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Black

SHORT DESCRIPTION=
Superman is born Kal-El on the alien planet Krypton, before being rocketed to Earth as an infant by his scientist father moments before the planet's destruction. Adopted and raised by a Kansas farmer and his wife, the child is raised as Clark Kent, and imbued with a strong moral compass. Upon reaching maturity the character develops superhuman abilities, resolving to use these for the benefit of humanity.

POWERS or ABILITIES=
Superman's cellular structure is more dense, resilient and biologically more effective than human tissue. Without constant exposure to solar energy, his strength seems on par for a human of his height and weight who engages in regular physical activity. He does possess several organs whose functions are not yet disclosed or understood but are believed to be part of, and perhaps even the source of, his biomatrix force field and reclamation aura. The catalog of powers in his possession is vast. He can defy gravity, move at great superhuman speed, has superhuman reaction time and reflexes, possesses vast super strength, is nearly totally invulnerable, possesses numerous superhuman senses, and also has powerful energy projection capabilities. Superman's body also stores energy actively within his bio-cellular matrix as an energy pattern that is linked to his body's electromagnetic field. These energy powers manifest themselves primarily as Superman's electromagnetic capabilities such as flight, X-ray and heat vision. His powers include:

The Power of Flight: As depicted in Superman Returns, this ability allows him to maneuver precisely in any direction as well as hover.

He is practically indestructible, he can fly through a star and shrug off a nuclear blast, capable of withstanding artillery shells, and lasers. Even withstanding Darkseid's Omega Effect, a feat that was previously considered impossible. In addition, his advanced immune system protects him from virtually all toxins and diseases. The most common explanations for Superman's invulnerability are him having a super-dense molecular structure and/or a supercharged bioelectric "aura" which acts as an invisible "force field" around his body just a few millimeters above his skin, and, presumably, within his body as well. The proximity of this field to his skin means that loose clothes, for example, may be burned off of him, while cloth that is close to his body is protected by the "aura;" This phenomenon is sometimes cited as Superman's reason for wearing a skin-tight bodysuit. It is sometimes implied that he can unconsciously extend this field to an undetermined extent to protect a greater area, allowing him to carry huge objects within the Earth's atmosphere and without gravity or inertia tearing them apart.

Ability to maintain continuous strenuous physical action for an unlimited time period.

Theoretically, Superman has unlimited stamina, due to his nourishment coming from the solar energy his cells process; he does, however, have the physiological need to eat and drink just as humans do, though he receives the majority of his energy from the Sun. He can also hold his breath for an undefined duration.

The ability to see through anything except lead. He can see things behind a wall as if the wall were not there, or can "peel back" layer after layer of matter in his mind.

The ability to "zoom in" his vision to see something at a great distance, without violating the laws of physics. The total telescopic ability is unprecedented, but limited to some extent.

The ability to see extremely small objects and images down to the atomic level (normal optical microscopes can only see objects down to the size of chromosomes).

The ability to fire beams of intense heat at a target by looking at it with the conscious act of activating this power. Visually, the power is typically depicted as two beams of red light firing from his eyes, leading to it sometimes being mistaken for laser beams. These beams can be made invisible, allowing Superman to work undetected.

Besides Superman's more famous visual abilities, he can also see the entire electromagnetic spectrum, including infrared and ultraviolet, allowing him to see in the dark. He can see and identify radio/television and any and all broadcast/transmitted frequencies, allowing him to avoid detection through radar or satellite monitoring methods.

The ability to hear any sound at any volume or pitch, even over vast distances. He has shown enough control to block out ambient sounds to focus on a specific source/frequency. Superman is able to block out all other sounds and focus on one particular noise. (heart beat, breathing etc) This also suggests he can tell the difference between individual heart beats and breathing.

Superman is a master ventriloquist; he used this once to rescue Lois from criminals. He is also a brilliant mimic, able to impersonate human voices or animal sounds.

The ability to create hurricane force winds by blowing, and to chill his breath in order to freeze a target (this latter ability has also been called "freeze breath" and "arctic breath"). Superman can also breathe in large amounts of air, an ability used when dealing with and disposing things like clouds of poison gas.

The ability to move at an incredible speed, like the Flash. This includes running, but flying is less strenuous and more versatile. His top speed is difficult to determine, but it approaches the speed of light. Superman has been shown to fly to the sun and back in less than 20 minutes (it takes light 8 minutes to travel from the sun to the earth. Superman also possesses superhuman reflexes and the ability to move at incredible speeds by sheer force of will. He can also perform complex actions like assembling objects at hundreds of times faster than a normal human.

Superman possesses extremely high levels of superhuman strength, the exact limits of which aren't known. Able to shift a planet from its orbit as seen in one Action Comics story teaming with the Flash. Superman can possess enough strength to move an entire planet upon attaining enough solar energy from Earth's yellow sun.

VILLAINS=
Lex Luthor, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Doomsday, Darkseid, Bizarro, Metallo, General Zod (and other Kryptonians imprisoned in the Phantom Zone), Parasite, the Prankster, Terra-Man, the Toyman, Gog, Atomic Skull, Brainiac, Conduit, Cyborg Superman, Imperiex, Intergang: A nationwide organized crime syndicate armed with weapons supplied in part by Darkseid. Led by Bruno "Ugly" Mannheim, Kalibak, Lobo, Solomon Grundy, and Mongul.

WHY IT"S HARD TO BE HIM=
It's hard to be someone like Superman mostly because he's practically the last of his kind. The only others are clones of him or Kryptonian animals and plants. Many times in his life he deals with the fact that he's alone in this universe. It's the same for anyone that's an orphan(though Superman is in fact not an orphan because he was adopted by John and Martha Kent but there are not many humans that are the last race of their kind) or even sometimes an only child. Reminding him of this and making fun of him because he's the last of his kind could end in death or serious injury.

Another thing is that unlike most human superheros like Batman, Superman has weaknesses to certain things. For example Kryptonite is most likely his greatest weakness. It slowly takes his powers(Green Kryptonite) and then starts to kill him. Or it makes him weak and then starts to kill him. His other weakness is magic. Against someone with magic on their side there's a good chance they are going to win.

Another thing that's also kinda comedic is that he works for the Daily Planet, a news paper company in Metropolis(Superman's home) that makes most of their money on reporting on Superman. For example Lois Lane(the person Superman likes and later marys), Jimmy Olsen(a photographer that's friends with Superman) and Clark will be hanging out in the office when a super villain like Bizzaro attacks the city. While Lois says "we better get down there," as she's looking at a news report on t.v. showing Bizzaro Clark Kent will slip away to change into his Superman costume leaving Lois and Jimmy looking around trying to figure out how he does that and the he's probably just getting on the story before them. So you can probably tell how it's kinda funny.
